Your annual checkup, done right. Your well-woman exam is the single most important medical appointment you make each year. It is a comprehensive review of your reproductive health, hormonal health, and overall wellness.
Covered By Most Plans
A well-woman exam — also called a well-woman visit, annual gynecological exam, or women's annual checkup — is a preventive healthcare appointment specifically designed for women. Unlike a sick visit where you come in because something is wrong, the well-woman exam is done when you feel fine — precisely because many serious conditions develop silently before symptoms appear.
It combines elements of a general physical exam with gynecological-specific screenings and a personalized review of your reproductive and hormonal health. It is recommended annually for all women starting at age 21 — and in some cases, even earlier. Think of it as your body's annual maintenance check. The earlier you catch a problem, the easier and more effective the treatment.
At All In One Care Solutions, our comprehensive exam leaves no stone unturned. Here is a breakdown of what is included during your visit.
Review of your family history of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, menstrual history, contraception, and symptoms. A real conversation, not a checkbox exercise.
Assessment of blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, height, weight, BMI, and waist circumference for cardiovascular risk.
Visual and manual assessment of your reproductive organs. Your physician checks for signs of infection, cysts, or other areas of concern while keeping you comfortable.
Screening for abnormal cervical cells and cancer. For women 30–65, an HPV co-test is typically performed. Results are clearly explained within 24–48 hours.
Systematic examination of both breasts and underarm lymph nodes to check for lumps, skin changes, or abnormalities. We coordinate diagnostic referrals if needed.
Brief skin assessment looking for suspicious moles or lesions. Skin changes can often be early indicators of hormonal shifts or other systemic conditions.
On-site processing for CBC, metabolic panel, lipid panel, fasting glucose, thyroid (TSH), Vitamin D, hormone panels, and requested STD screening.
Review of your vaccination status and discussion of recommended updates including influenza, COVID-19, Tdap, shingles, and the HPV vaccine.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women. We assess your 10-year risk based on blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and family history.
For women approaching or past menopause, we assess bone density risk, discuss calcium/vitamin D, and determine if a DEXA scan is indicated.
Discussions on preconception counseling, contraception options, fertility concerns, postpartum health, perimenopause, and menopause transition.
We screen for depression (PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7), stress, burnout, and sleep quality. We offer in-clinic options or specialist referrals if needed.
At the end of your visit, your physician sits with you and builds a personalized health plan. This includes follow-up lab reviews, recommended screenings for the coming year, specialist referrals (mammogram, dermatology, etc.), and lifestyle recommendations specific to your health profile. You leave knowing exactly where your health stands — and exactly what to do next.
At All In One Care Solutions, we offer a combined visit — so you can complete everything without booking two separate appointments.
